Are you curious to learn more about Moseley VA? If so this video is for you! I go over the best neighborhoods in Moseley VA and I tell you exactly what it is like to live in Moseley. This area is more recently developed than much of Richmond Va and it is absolutely on of the best places to live near Richmond Virginia.
Before jumping into the top 3 neighborhoods in Moseley, I first explain all the nearby amenities and show you what your life could look like if you lived here. Practically everything you could ever need is located along the Hull Street corridor within just a few miles. There are tons of grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping centers. Truly the only negative to living in Moseley is that you are so far away from Richmond Va. So if you still have to commute to work be sure to check the distance between where you would live and where you will be working.
The first top neighborhood is Magnolia Green. Magnolia Green is amazing and has the most amenities out of any neighborhood I have ever heard of. There is a golf course, tennis courts, a huge aquatic center and more! New construction is still ongoing but there are also plenty of resale homes available too. Magnolia Green is quite large and it honestly could have its own zip code. The county plans on building a brand new elementary school for the neighborhood. The one downside to this neighborhood is that there is an additional “tax” called the Magnolia Green CDA. It isn’t a budget breaker and the link to more information about it is below.
Up next is Summer Lake and it is one of my all time favorite neighborhoods. The streets are beautiful and the developer did a good job of maintaining lots of beautiful natural elements throughout. New construction is available but I think the resale sections are the prettiest. There is a pool, clubhouse, and fitness center within the neighborhood. The only downside to living in Summer Lake is that it is located off of Otterdale Road which is currently only 2 lanes and traffic can be difficult at certain times of the day.
The last neighborhood is technically not in Moseley Va but it is just a stone’s throw from the border and just a little southeast of Magnolia Green so I included it. This neighborhood is Harpers Mill. I think that Harpers Mill is a close second to Magnolia Green. All that is missing is a golf course and then you would be set. Harpers Mill is beautiful and your dollar goes a lot further than some other areas. You get a lot of value when you buy here because the homes are newer, energy efficient, and quite spacious.
