HENRICO, Va. (WWBT) – A homicide investigation is underway after Henrico police found a 46-year-old man dead inside a home on Tuesday afternoon from apparent stab wounds.
Police responded to the scene just before 12:45 p.m. Dec. 27 in the 8100 block of Langley Drive.
Inside the home, officers found Andre Leonard Malmberg dead.
On Thursday, Henrico police said Jermaine Lee Branch, 47, was taken into custody with the assistance of the Richmond Police Department and charged with second-degree murder.
The victim and suspect know each other, police said.
