Shannon Bass, guest speaker at Freeman High School for Black History Month.

Shannon Bass spoke to students at Freeman High School about her career path and how she got started in graphic design. She encouraged students to create their own lanes and answered questions about the challenges she currently faces as a minority business owner. She’s the lead designer at John Tyler Community College and owner of Ryano Graphics, founder of the HER Collective and curator of Black Creatives RVA.
