Regional Cooperation in Public Safety

Henrico County Manager John A. Vithoulkas and Fire Chief Anthony McDowell highlight how regional cooperation enhances public safety between Henrico and neighboring localities. Their comments to the Board of Supervisors on Nov. 13, 2018, came after firefighters from the city of Richmond, Chesterfield County
and Hanover County stepped forward to staff several Henrico stations to allow Henrico firefighters to attend the funeral of Henrico firefighter Kevin O’Connell.
