Omoplata Attacks – Richmond BJJ Academy – March 2012 Technique of the Month

A counter Omoplata for when your opponent tries to roll out of the standard Omoplata shoulder lock submission. Normally, most Jiu-Jitsu player will accept the roll through as a sweep and score 2 points while securing the side control position. This option allows you to continue with the Omoplata as a submission to finish the match/fight.
