HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — An elderly Henrico man with dementia has been located thanks in part to the help of Chesterfield Police.
According to Henrico Police, 89-year-old Franklin James West was reported missing on Saturday, Oct. 1. He drove away in a silver 2002 Lexus LX470 with the license plate number UKN8045, police said. The vehicle had approximately half a tank of gas.
The Henrico Police Division thanks those who helped in the search for West, who is expected to reunite with his family shortly.
