Mary Elizabeth Hand, 85, of Henrico County, Virginia went to be with the Lord Saturday, January 8, 2022, after an extended illness.
Born October 1, 1936 in Miami, FL, she was a daughter of the late Levi and Philathea Hazel. She was a member of Fort Lee Baptist Church, Henrico, VA
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Judson W. Hand; two sons, JW Hand and David Hand and her brother, Clyde Hazel.
Survivors include her two daughters, Susan Hand Henderson (Rick Henderson) and Amy Hand Seiy (Joe Burnette); 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, from the Fort Lee Baptist Church in Henrico, VA.
A graveside service will be held at Patterson Cemetery in Patterson. Date and time will be announced soon.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the church of one’s choice.
