How to perform the One-arm Kettlebell Swing
Instructional Video for 2-Handed Swing
Similarities between the 2-Handed Swing and the 1-Arm Swing
• Neutral back
• Feet planted
• Shoulders packed
• Kettlebell handle passes above knees in backswing
• Body forms a straight line at top of swing
• Kettlebell forms an extension of arm at top of swing
• Abs and glutes visibly contract at top of swing
• Breathing matches movement
Differences
• More work/more gains: glutes, core, and lats have to work harder to ensure anti-rotation at top and shoulders stay square at top
• Thumb position in backswing
Enjoy!
