Over three days in September 2021, Henrico officials cut ceremonial ribbons and christened three schools – punctuating a process that began in 2016 when Henrico voters approved funding for their construction. The new J.R. Tucker and Highland Springs high schools replace aging facilities while the expanded Holladay Elementary now doubles its original size. From breaking ground to cutting ribbons, the schools were built and serving students in less than two years.
