On February 18, 2020, Henrico County completed the MS Pushup Challenge.
Varina District Supervisor Tyrone Nelson, Dan Schmitt – Brookland District Supervisor, Henrico County Police Chief Humberto Cardounel and Henrico County Division of Fire Chief Alec Oughton united with the Henrico County, VA Sheriff’s Office and other public safety members to raise awareness about Multiple Sclerosis.
Holding a low pushup for 5 seconds simulates what an MS patient feels. The creator of #PushUp4MS hopes people who participate will donate $1 for every pushup to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Henrico crushed it for 60 seconds in response to a challenge from Mayor Levar Stoney and the Chief of the Richmond Police Department. Together we can all make a difference.
