Come join Henrico County Public Schools and play a crucial role in educating our children: Henrico County Public Schools’ bus drivers make sure that students get to school safely and on time. HCPS Nutrition Services staff members make sure that students are nourished and ready to learn. Temporary instructional assistants assist teachers in the classroom.

Who: HCPS will interview candidates for bus drivers, school nutrition services staff and temporary instructional assistants.

Interested in driving a bus but don’t have driving experience? Qualified bus driver candidates will be paid as they train. Candidates for full-time and substitute bus drivers must: be at least 21 years old; have a valid Virginia driver’s license; be able to obtain a CDL Class B instructional permit or hold a CDL Class B license with endorsements in P (Transporting Passengers)/S (School Bus) and airbrakes; pass a physical and drug test and have no felony convictions.
