Glen Allen man faces murder charge in Hampton

Police tapeA 55 year-old Glen Allen man is facing a first-degree murder charge in Hampton, after police there reported that a shooting Thursday night left another man dead.

Wilgressa Johnson also faces one charge of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and one count of shooting within an occupied dwelling, according to WAVY TV in Norfolk.

The shooting was reported shortly before 8 p.m., Nov. 11, inside a residence in the 700 block of Kecoughtan Road, according to the WAVY report.

The victim, 57-year-old Terrell Stith, lived in the home. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.

Police are investigating what led to the shooting.
