Fire Specialty Teams: Technical Rescue Team

The Henrico County Division of Fire’s specialty teams are trained and equipped to respond to situations that present particularly dangerous or unique challenges. The Technical Rescue Team handles a wide variety of rescue situations, including those involving collapsed buildings and trenches, confined spaces, surface and swift water, vehicle extrication and heavy equipment extrication.
