Henrico Recreation and Parks is providing in-depth explanations about the animals in their collections that serve as a way for our students to learn more about the animals habitat, feeding habits, and more even when they cannot visit the parks themselves.
Reptiles and amphibians are exciting animals to learn about and the Henrico Recreation and Parks staff are kind to provide students with virtual field trips to the Three Lakes Park to learn more about their habitat and more.
The virtual field trips serve as a way for students to learn about what they have in their own back yard, the Henrico Parks. The amphibians and reptiles are examples of animals that we have in Virginia and other places in the country that provide a context for learning including food web and habitats.
