Dorey Park Sand Sculpture – June 30, 2020

This sand sculpture at Dorey Park will be part of a patriotic display including flags and artwork, from July 1st through July 5th. On July 3rd, visitors will hear the story of London Pleasants, an enslaved man who defined his own independence during the Revolutionary War. A 20-minute presentation by Colonial Williamsburg re-enactor Jamar Jones and a question-and-answer period will occur at 4, 5, & 6 p.m.
