Officials from Home Building Association of Richmond, several home building firms and Henrico County government teamed up Dec. 8 to break ground at the future site of Richmond Homearama at GreenGate in far western Henrico. Among the builders represented at the groundbreaking were Biringer Builders, Covenant Building & Design, Eagle Construction, River City Custom Homes, and Southern Traditions.

Hosted by HBAR and Markel Eagle Partners, the 12-day home show will feature five new designer-furnished dream homes built simultaneously on one street and showcasing the latest decorating trends and technology.

Homearama is expected to take place in the second half of 2022, but a specific show date has yet to be determined due to supply chain uncertainties. Richmond Homearama’s charity partner will be ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation.
