HUNTER, Deaconess Pearl Virginia, 96, of Mechanicsville, Va., gained her heavenly wings peacefully, with her family at her side Wednesday, February 16, 2022. She was born in Henrico Va., December 4, 1925 to the late Clinton O. and Ruth R. Webster. She attended Richmond Public Schools and graduated from Armstrong High School. Preceding her in death were her parents, Clinton Sr. and Ruth Webster; husband, Deacon Earl J. Hunter Sr.; brothers, Clinton Jr., Harvey, Earnest, Thomas, William, Walter, Lloyd and Harry Webster; daughter, Lillian Hunter; and great-granddaughter, Shauna Williamson. Pearl loved everyone as if they were her own. She leaves to cherish her legacy, four children, Earl Jr. (Francine), Stella Henderson (James), Janet Shelton (Julian Sr.) and Wendy Hill; brother, Robert Webster Sr. (Nereida); seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law/cousin, Elnora Hunter; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the First Union Baptist Church Deaconess Ministry. Remains rest at the March Funeral Home, 2110 E.
