HARRELSON, Charles “Chuck” A., passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 17, 2021. He was 58. He was preceded in death by his parents, Matilda Piper Harrelson and Eber Slatch Harrelson Jr. Also preceding him in death were his brothers, Christopher A. Harrelson and Roger M. Northwood; his beloved nephew, Jeff W. Brooks; and his dogs, Sophie and Daffy. Chuck is survived by a sister, Cathy H. Brooks of Henrico, Va.; brothers, Cedric A. Harrelson of Lugoff, S.C. and Eber S. Harrelson III of Lakeland, Fla. He is also survived by his nephew, Joey W. Brooks of Charlottesville, Va.; and nieces, Lisa D. Agosto, of Virginia Beach, Va., Amber R. Harrelson of Rock Hill, S.C., Chelsey C. Harrelson of Rembert, S.C. and Samantha R. Harrelson of Lugoff, S.C.; as well as great-nieces and great-nephews. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2021 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Pilots Lane, Richmond, Va., where he will be laid to rest near his mother, brother, grandparents and great-grandparents. A gathering of friends and family will follow at his home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite no-kill animal shelter.
