On Friday, March 5, Henrico County celebrated the life of a member of our family. Capt. Donald L. Lambert Jr. was a husband, father and 33-year veteran of Henrico Police.
“He was a selfless leader, mentor and friend who served our community with pride,” said Henrico County Chief of Police Eric English.
Capt. Lambert was off-duty when he died unexpectedly on Feb. 27.
Officers paid tribute to their beloved brother in blue during the procession to Mount Vernon Baptist Church. Don will be remembered for his commitment to his faith, family and community.
