In this video we show you 6 luxury neighborhoods In Glen Allen VA. Glen Allen VA is a great suburb of Richmond Va and it is located just north of Short Pump. The Glen Allen area is one of the best places to live in Richmond. This video focuses on luxury homes in Glen Allen VA but if you want to learn more about the Glen Allen area be sure to watch some of our other videos highlighting Glen Allen.
We start this video by going over Wyndham and two luxury sections within the Wyndham community. Wyndham is quite large and one of Richmond’s first planned urban developments which means it has something for everyone. Cherry Hill & Ellington Woods both fit the bill for luxury but offer a greatly different pros & cons list.
After Wyndham we visit Hampshire which is actually 3 different sections with the most expensive homes being in the Estates of Hampshire section. Hampshire has a great location in Glen Allen and is very convenient to grocery stores and highway access and additionally it feeds into really good school systems.
Next is the Covington neighborhood which is located directly across the street from Hampshire. The homes in Covington are really large and definitely fit the luxury bill. These are a little bit newer and a touch more expensive than Hampshire. Both of those neighborhoods do not have any real HOA amenities but there is a YMCA very close by on Nuckols Road.
Stable Hill is a newer construction community built between 2013 and 2018. I would say the only real con to this neighborhood is that some of the yards aren’t really flat. And something else to know is that there are two schools nearby so you may have some extra traffic through the neighborhood during school pickup and drop off.
Bentley is located further south off Pouncey Tract Road. This is a very small neighborhood of only 54 homes. This is a great Glen Allen location as you are knocking right on Short Pumps door with tons of shopping and entertainment very close by.
We finish in the most expensive neighborhood in this video which is Henley. Henley is jaw droppingly beautiful featuring all custom homes built from 2006 through right now. Stay to the end of the video to see why we wouldn’t build there!
