In the same year as the Apollo Moon Landing, Woodstock, the start of Sesame Street, and even the start of the internet, we became an official government division.
50 years later, we have more than 55 developed parks, 45 playgrounds, 178 athletic fields, 28 miles of trails – and we’re not done yet!
