Interacting with Teachers:
- Virtual Share (Click here and find your teacher. Right Click>Send To>Desktop to create a shortcut)
- History Page (Internet Explorer)
- Creating Folders (In any window or the desktop, just right click and choose New>Folder)
- Shortcuts (Right click or drag the IE icon in your URL toolbar to your desktop)
- eLearning Options
- Bookmark favorites (ctrl+D while you’re on the page, or Favorites>Add to Favorites)
Your stuff:
- Backing Up: Student Back Up
- Printing: Adding LP1 and LP2 Printers
- Help Desk (Open from 8:30 to 2pm daily and after school until 4pm. You need a pass from your teacher.)
- HCPSLink (Gives you announcements and grades current to every Friday)

Laptop Care:
- Charge your computer nightly
- Do not vandalize your computer (you will be charged the cost of the repair)
- Keep documents in folders, not on your desktop
- No food or drinks nearby (you will pay for this, this year $400)
- Restart a lot
- Ask Mrs. Kroll about laptop questions (find her in the North cafeteria during every lunch)
Acceptable Use:
Simple, if your mom was sitting next to you in the classroom, would you do it?
- Filters/Proxies/Appropriate Websites
- Mistreating your laptop (Imagine you bought this and let someone borrow it)
- This is NOT your computer
- Music is only acceptable at home
