2012-13 Specialty Center Application Process and Dates

To gain admission to our IB program, you must go through the HCPS Specialty Center admission process. Please look below at dates for information sessions, open houses, and procedures. The application is now available in the link below, at the bottom of this page.
HCPS now offers students a choice in IB programs at the high school level. Students will indicate their preference on the application. Both high schools will host open houses, listed below, and we invite students and parents to attend both so that they may make an informed decision as to their preference.
CALENDAR OF INFORMATION AND APPLICATION:

APPLYING TO HCPS SPECIALTY CENTERS
For students who are currently students of HCPS, the application is online and is available here: https://hcpsapps.henrico.k12.va.us/
For students who are Henrico County residents but who attend private school but wish to apply, please use the paper copy: SpecApp2013A. In addition to the application, private school students need to contact Maria Wyman (mmwyman@henrico.k12.va.us) to schedule testing for the NWEA and for writing for entrance into HCPS specialty centers.
