SAT Prep Opportunity
Hello! My name is Yin Liu and I am a 2010 graduate of Henrico High School and a rising sophomore at the University of Virginia. This past week, I went back to HHS and talked to your children during seminar about a fantastic opportunity this summer and about the college experience. This summer, I’ve been selected to bring Ivy Insiders programs to Richmond. Ivy Insiders programs are offered through Revolution Prep, an innovative prep company that is changing the way thousands of students around the country approach standardized tests.
What are Ivy Insiders programs?
Ivy Insiders programs were started at Harvard in 2003 with a mission to help high school students beat the SAT and ACT using the first-hand insights of top college test-takers. Over the last 8 years, Ivy Insiders programs have helped nearly 10,000 students achieve SAT score improvements of 257 points on average—nearly twice the improvement achieved by traditional test prep companies.
What makes Ivy Insiders different?
Ivy Insiders’ programs deliver unmatched results due to three key differentiators
• College-aged instructors selected for their 99th percentile SAT scores and experience as mentors and role models to high school students
• Intensive delivery in a three-week period during which students can avoid the typical school-year distractions and focus entirely on the SAT.
• A personalized approach that targets each student’s problems areas and customizes instruction to every student’s needs
Needless to say, I am very excited to be bringing this incredible program to Richmond this summer!
How can your son or daughter get involved?
To view schedules for my classroom courses, private tutoring, and free summer workshops, visit
http://www.revolutionprep.com/ivy_instructors/yin_l
On this site, you will see my instructor biography and three options – Private Tutoring, a Group Course, and a Free Event. The Group Course is the main attraction, with three weeks of intensive prep and proctored tests with in-depth analyses and score reports. The free event is a free proctored SAT test with a score report and an analysis as well, with no strings attached. The schedules for both of them are on the website, along with more details. Private tutoring is the third option, with more flexible times, dates, and content approaches.
Remember that summer is the ideal time to focus on test prep without adding to the workload of school!
I’ve also been authorized to extend a discount code to Henrico High School students for $50 off my Ivy Insiders summer program. That code is VA2HHS Please use it when you check out online!
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email me at yin_liu@ivyinsiders.com or call me anytime at 802-999-6882. Below is some more information about my own teaching and testing background. Thank you so much for your time, and enjoy your summer!
