Priyanka’s Herd

In honor of Priyanka Kaushik and her family, on April 24th, 2010, there will be an ASK walk to benefit kids with cancer and more specifically, a group called, “Priyanka’s Herd” to benefit Priyanka.
When: April 24th, 2010
Where: Short Pump Town Center
How: In order to register, you need to go to www.askwalk.org and at the top of the page, there willbe a button that says “register;” click on that. Then, when you are there, go to individual registrant options and click on the one that says “join a team.” Then, proceed to fill out your information and over to the right, there will be a column that says “event-related information,” you’re going to want to select a team” and choose “Priyanka’s Herd.”

Students need to turn in the following
Freshmen: 2 goal sheets and at least 2 progress reports per goal
Sophomores: 4 goal sheets (2 from 9th and 2 from 10th) and at least 4 progress reports per goal, plus a journal and final reflections
Juniors: 4 goal sheets and at least 4 progress reports per goal
Seniors: 8 goal sheets (4 from 11th and 4 from 12th) and at least 8 progress reports per goal, plus a journal and final reflections
Students have access to the forms and information on how to fill them out. They are expected to use the correct forms and have them filled in correctly. If it is not on the correct form I will not accept it. It make it very difficult to figure out what they need and who it belongs to. Students should also put their name and graduation year at the top corner of each loose page or on the front cover of their journal.
Finally, if they have community service hours to be logged they will need to see me also. This has to be logged in appropriately for the medallion on the Virginia diploma.
