Summer is just around the corner, and the Children’s Museum of Richmond has plenty of volunteer opportunities available for motivated high school students looking for a challenge! I have attached a spreadsheet of upcoming opportunities for high school students. Please note that our summer volunteer slots fill VERY quickly! There was a miscommunication, and the dates we published in our recruitment materials are incorrect.
THe following are the correct dates:
Applications Due: Friday, February 6
Specialty Center Assessment Exams: Saturday, February 14 at home school
Notifications (acceptance or decline) sent: March 13
Letter of intent due from students: March 30
Wait List “cleared”: April 20
HHS IB Salutes CFA and Mrs. Hanchey

I know all will want to join me in saluting CFA and congratulating Lee Hanchey in the achievement of a dream in concrete and mortar — the new art studio building. Lee –and with her all the CFA faculty have worked hard to make this possible and struggled on under adverse circumstances. The facility is beautiful. We are blessed to have it — and Mrs. Hanchey!
