Dear Parents of Seniors,
The year has started, and the reality of IB’s rigor, college applications, and real life has begun to hit some of our students. Senior year is a challenge under the best of circumstances! I speak from experience having had two boys go through it simultaneously – who are now college graduates – and a daughter go through it last year. It takes a great deal of patience, and I want you to know that I am here for you, professionally and personally.
Tips to get through this time:

Seniors and Parents:
Please find the link above for your Senior Resume template. This format allows you to include all pertinent information to help Ms. Bradford fill out her part of your college applications, help those whom you request to write recommendation letters or forms include “choice” details to be more convincing, as well as for you to include with your application or to use in filling out your applications! These are due to Mr. Phillips by October 6.
This is a good time to mention that you need to start asking teachers to write these recommendations. The teachers are usually those you had last year or this year. Obviouisly, while I would love to write for all of you and will contribute by helping Ms. Bradford know you better, I can’t write 72 rec letters with 12 copies each! So, I will have a sign up sheet in the IB office for the first 25. There are a few of you who spoke to me last year, but you need to come put your name on the list!
